Privacy can be defined as “The state or condition of being free from being observed or disturbed by other people”.
Nowadays in the new world of technologies , our privacy has been threatened, in fact many individuals are carelessly posting personal information about themselves. People don’t realize the potential consequences of their actions ! For example , people these days don’t understand that what ever they are posting on the internet from personal information ( such as dress , phone number , bank details … ) to family pictures are leaving a “cyber footprint”.
Moreover not only is social media a means to steal private information , it is also a way to spread rumors and gossip as well as damaging misinformations ! For these reasons we should be extremely careful when posting / reviling personal information on the internet.
To conclude , social media have revolutionized communication allowing people to share their life with their friends .Thanks to social networks million of people around the world are able to communication with each other , sharing moments , pictures … However social networks also represent a real danger:! The ease of use in social networks significantly contributes to many privacy violations .
